Lessons in Life Skills
The classroom teacher has already led the students in the project kickoff and will have assistance in leading the technology portion of the project. Students have created some sort of presentation piece, possibly a slideshow or a poster, we will add narration to a video of the presentation.
This lesson takes place after students are able to complete a pencil-paper job application and takes them through the steps to learn how to complete this process online.
Students will crop a portion of a video using Streamable, record a rebuttal with information using ClipChamp and then put it all together with YouTube Editor.
Using Bitsbox students will enter in predetermined code to build an app. Once they get the hang of it, they will modify code.
Students showcase their understanding of what their classroom job entails by making an iMovie about the skills needed to do their job.
